NAM POLL: VOTERS SUPPORT ‘FAIR’ TRADE

President Barack Obama’s free trade push has the backing of most voters, as long as it’s pitched as a way to even the international playing field, according to a poll commissioned by the National Association of Manufacturers.
The survey of 1,000 likely voters, conducted Feb. 6-11 by McLaughlin and Associates, found that 80 percent of those polled believe Congress and the president “should work together so that America can negotiate and put in place trade agreements that eliminate barriers and level the playing field.”…
